Hands-On Training in Non-Invasive Body Contouring Technologies
Training focuses on the professional use of program-specific body contouring equipment within a supervised learning environment. Students review equipment preparation and operation, client consultation, contraindications, visible skin and body considerations, hygiene and disinfection, recordkeeping, treatment planning, and pre- and post-service procedures.
Instruction includes radio frequency, body cavitation, vacuum suction, and mechanical body contouring concepts identified in the current curriculum. Students practise relevant service protocols under instructor guidance while learning to communicate realistic expectations, service limitations, and appropriate aftercare considerations.
This certificate provides education for non-invasive aesthetics services. It does not qualify graduates to diagnose medical conditions, prescribe nutrition or weight-loss plans, guarantee fat or cellulite reduction, or represent body contouring as equivalent to liposuction. Learners should follow the applicable device instructions and confirm current training, insurance, public-health, employer, workspace, and municipal requirements before offering services.
Health Canada regulates medical devices and provides the Medical Devices Active Licence Listing for devices currently licensed for sale in Canada. Any claim that a specific machine is “medical grade” should only be made after the exact manufacturer, model, licence status and authorized intended use have been verified.
